Thanks for this post.
This give us more determination to go on through the process to obtain special permit to splash there.
But it's to early to say if the event will be confirmed or not.
We'll keep you informed as soon as something more precise is obtained.

Requirements to fly in UK airspace with french Ultralight seaplane

Can someone give us information regarding to UK rules applied to a french ultralight seaplane to fly to GSD 2011 ?

- minimum equipment needed ?
- permit to fly requested ?
- ...

On the way to GSD2011

We are trying to obtain permission to use the river Seine as a seaplane base close to the airfield LFXU, Les Mureaux (25km west Paris}.

That could be the opportunity to offer italian, swiss, german ... pilots, to make a stop on their way to GSD2011.
On the way back, we think of a possible stop on lac Amance {150km Est of Paris).

Both places would offer 100LL on the airfield located just close by.

Tell us if you would be interested to have that opportunity to splash in France before and after GSD {11 or 12th september and 17 or 18th}.
